Über die Autorin/den Autor

Suzie Napayok-Short was born in Iqaluit on Baffin Island, Nunavut. She has built a career as an Inuktitut translator and interpreter working across Nunavut, the Northwest Territories, and throughout Canada. Suzie currently lives in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. Suzie´s first book for children, Wild Eggs: A Tale of Arctic Egg Collecting, was nominated for the Silver Birch Express Award. Jonathan Wright is an illustrator living in Iqaluit, Nunavut. He´s also known to dabble in the Dark Arts of animation. Maika Harper is a Canadian actress and model born and raised in the Arctic. She briefly studied classical theatre in the BFA program at the University of Windsor before starring in APTN´s hit dramatic comedy Mohawk Girls as Anna. She has also made appearances in Kim´s Convenience, Burden of Truth and Law and Order: Toronto. Her most recent show, North of North, will be available to stream on Netflix early next year.
