Written by: Anna Cole studied Archaeology and Anthropology at Murray Edwards College, University of Cambridge before training as a TEFL teacher. She spent the summer on the Costa Brava as a child, so it was a natural step to move to Barcelona - where she had been living ever since. Anna has worked as a teacher at the British Council, Barcelona and, after completing her RSA/UCLES DELTA diploma, she started working as the Director of Languages at Merit. Anna began writing materials for Macmillan in 1996 - Brilliant, Imagine, Definitions, United. She first worked with Dave Spencer on the Macmillan Secondary Course and was thrilled to be asked to write the Gateway Teacher's books for A2, B1, B1+ and B2 levels.
