He shows his guest his Functional Time Machine and through which ready to travel. The Time Machine presents a vivid and haunting picture of an earth some 800,000 years into the future. This novel was one of the first novels to deal with the concept of time travel and was regarded as one of the most impactful works on the science fiction genre.
