Michael Larranaga, PhD is a Principal Consultant with Ramboll Environ, a global environmental, safety, and health consulting firm. Dr. Larranaga is an appointed member of the Board of Scientific Counselors for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention s National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. He serves as a member of the First Responders Group within the Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate and is a director of the American Board of Industrial Hygiene. Dr. Larranaga was previously Professor and Department Head of the School of Fire Protection and Safety at Oklahoma State University, Assistant Professor of Occupational and Environmental Health at the University of North Texas Health Science Center School of Public Health, and a member of the Hazardous Materials Response Group at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Dr. Larranaga is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and a Certified Safety Professional. Richard J. Lewis, Sr. of Lewis Information Systems, Inc. is a chemist with extensive experience in air and industrial pollution measurement, industrial hygiene research, and toxicological and chemical information systems. Formerly manager of Information Systems for the National Institute for Occupational Health and Safety, Lewis is the author of a number of widely used references, including: Sax's Dangerous Properties of Industrial Materials (8th - 11th Editions), Rapid Guide to Hazardous Chemicals in the Workplace (2nd and 3rd Editions), Reproductively Active Chemicals, and Hawley's Condensed Chemical Dictionary (14th and 15th Editions) -- all published by John Wiley and Sons. Robert Lewis (deceased) was the author or editor of numerous scientific papers and books in English and German. He developed and coordinated several programs of research and has served as an administrator of governmental organizations and national programs in the United States, and also as an academic administrator, director of a research institute, and leader of national programs of research in the Federal Republic of Germany.
